Reed Spencer (Wabash College)

The Wabash College Glee Club traveled to Taiwan with John Stephenson, whose team led us all around the country, performing in concerts, touring important museums and sites, and engaging deeply with Taiwanese culture. John set up fabulous concerts for our ensemble at some incredible venues, including collaborations with other serious choirs in Taiwan. I admire John’s dedication, and it was obvious that he was willing to put in a tremendous amount of work to make sure our team had an unforgettable experience. The trip was full of variety, including a concert on an island, homestays with Taiwanese families, and wonderful dinners with our large group. It was a trip that was incredibly meaningful to the Glee Club, and I look forward to working with John again in the future. He made sure our trip was a roaring success.
